Azure Kaplan

Azure wears his heart on his sleeve. He is passionate and rash, always wanting to do the right thing without stopping to think of the consequences. He'd rather give money to a scam artist then ignore someone who might actually need help (though if he found out he was scammed, he would immediately seek justice).

Biography

Azure lived a mostly peaceful life in his home town. The town was situated next to a mine, and so the Maglan Empire decided to occupy the town and put the townsfolk to work in the mine. Azure's family worked every day in that mine until an accident killed Azure's father and older brother. After that incident, Azure stopped complying with the Maglan occupation and was forced to flee the town.

Relationships

Family

Azure has always had a very close relationship with his parents, his older brother, his sister-in-law, and his nephew. After his father and older brother were killed, he became extra protective of his remaining family. He is driven by the desire to create a better world for them.

Friends

Azure travels with Emery, Simon, Blair, Kestrel, and Marita. He originally met Simon and Emery when they helped each other escape from a Maglan labor camp, and met the others further in their travels. He generally gets along with everyone and doesn't really notice if he's annoying anyone (like Simon).

Appearance

Azure is a big beefy man, very muscular from years of physical labor and a high protein diet. He has brown skin, cool brown eyes, dark blue hair, and lighter blue fur on his ears and legs. Large dark horns protrude from his head, like a yak's. His hair is short and wavy, and he keeps a short beard on his chin. His blue ox-like tail is lightly striped.

Clothing wise, Azure wears comfy and practical clothes, like a simple shirt and pants topped with sturdy leather armor. He also really likes tiger print, because it makes him look fierce like a tiger.

Azure generally has a rustic sense of style.

Trivia

Likes:

Family, dogs (the bigger the better), neat looking rocks, cooking, keeping jerky and other snacks on hand

Dislikes:

Getting sleepy, trying to figure out how magic works, the wealthy parts of cities that are full of snobby people and weird social rules

He usually speaks politely in a gravelly masculine voice, similar to Lukas from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
